Fitting instructions:
  1. Remove the towball and electric sockets from the towbar.
  2. Install the Tow-Tekta between the towball and towbar.
  3. The electrical sockets can be reattached without rewiring by utilizing the slots provided in the socket mountings.

    Ensure that the ends of the bolts protrude through the nuts when tightened, using the existing bolts.

    If longer bolts are needed, they must be BS3692 M16 high tensile towball bolts grade 8.8.

    Use new shakeproof washers or nylon locking nuts grade 8 on all occasions.

    Tighten the bolts to 240Nm.
